Unbound Book Festival
Nationally-recognized and bestselling authors across many different genres will come to mid-Missouri to discuss their work and participate in a variety of stimulating events and environments. The third annual event will take place at various venues around Columbia, including the keynote address on Friday night at the Missouri Theatre and the full day of events on the Stephens College campus on Saturday. There will be separate programs for Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Children’s Events

Lit Up Teen Book Festival
Lit Up is a book festival for teenagers and young adults. Founded by Emery Uhlig, a 15-year-old Kansas City student, Lit Up 2018 is hosted by the Mid-Continent Public Library and features acclaimed authors and illustrators. It includes author talks, panels, writing and illustrating clinics, a writing contest, a poetry slam, music, a podcast, and food trucks!
